I got a couple of rally cars. I
got the silver Peugeot 206 WRC first. The main reason was that
it was 4WD. It was so much fun that I had to have another, so
they can race.

After inspecting the chassis, I noticed
I could remove the traction magnet without removing the body. It
was so easy, so I did it. The result is a great sliding car. The
4WD really comes in handy here. With the rear hanging so far out,
the powered front tires keep the car controlable, and swing it right
back in line as the car exits a curve. (Note the motion blur in
this and some of the following pictures).

Another sliding Ford Focus WRC shot.
Both this and the Peugeot are made by SCX.

There goes the Peugeot sliding
in the inside lane. It's moving, but you get no motion blur here.

There's no mistaking that this car is
in motion. This was actually out of control, and I was lucky not
to de-slot.

That's right. I removed the traction
magnet from my Fly Panoz Esperante. I think the car shows what
a good car it is in this form. Without the traction magnet, the
Fly car looks to be superior to the other cars in my stable.
